Ever since Covid-19 has happened and been a part of our lives as of a month ago, many people have resorted to shopping from home online. I know I have. I'm here to give you a rundown of colors and patterns to look out for that are hot this summer.

COLORS

The first color that I have noticed in many high end clothing stores and even on the runway is a light blue color. Personally, this is my favorite color, so it's nice to see this in the stores I love. This color makes literally EVERYONE look good. I kid you not. I have yet to see one person not rock this color.

I've also seen an increase in this color in light washed jeans. Especially in the mom or boyfriend jean category.

Either way, this is such an amazing color to wear on any occasion and it is going to make you look amazing!

The next color I've been seeing a lot lately is the color white. I have seen SO many all white outfits or even just splashes of white in different outfits.

I feel like white really gives outfits an airy feel and looks good on everyone.

It can most definitely tie an outfit together wither its a pair of white sneakers, a white bag or even some white, ripped jeans.

You will definitely see more white in peoples outfits this spring and summer.

Just as the color white has become apparent in many style icon's wardrobe, so has black. You see more and more all black outfits everyday. Especially this winter. People were seen wearing all back outfits such as leather jackets, ripped black jeans and even the infamous black leather Doc Martens.

Though you probably don't want to wear all black this spring and summer due to the colors attractant of heat, it's nice to have a splash here and there within your summer wardrobe.

This color creates and amazing contrast between the lighter colors. It's also great for bathing suit colors because of its attractant to heat, making it the perfect color to wear when wanting to get a nice golden tan.

Another color that has been popping up more recently is this stunning lavender color. Ever since the release of the series "Euphoria" people can not get enough of this color.

I decided to have my prom dress be lavender (rip) and I love it. It's also showing up in a lot of floral prints this spring and summer as well.

It's most definitely worth adding to your closet within some staple pieces.

Next we have this beautiful and vibrant red. Wither you're adding it into your makeup routine to add a pop of color or you're creating a monochromatic look with this color, it makes anyone look amazing.

This color really brings out complexion in most everyone rather than a deeper red that usually washes many people out. I think this color looks good in jackets, tops and even mini dresses.

You can also find this color in many bathing suits and floral prints this spring and summer.

PATTERNS

60s and 70s prints have been popping up everywhere in the past couple of years, and they will most definitly have many appearances this spring especially.

I've seen similar prints on skirts and jean jackets. I've even seen many prints on head scarves as well.

They add statement to basic outfits and make it more vibrant and interesting. I will definitely be adding this to my closet soon.

I've been seeing this messy polka dot pattern EVERYWHERE. I just ordered a bathing suit with this pattern on it the other day. I love it and I'm so happy that it has made a comeback.

You will see this pattern pop up more this summer. I think it's a good twist on polka dots and overall makes the pattern more appealing and pretty.

This is my favorite pattern yet. Pastel plaid in mini skirts is such a cute way to wear a skirt. I've been wanting to get my hands on one for the longest!

I think that they look super cute on literally everyone. Any body type and skin tone. It gives off a more soft look.
